As single mom I was used to paying my own bills, balancing my own checkbook, and creating my own credit history, but I was happy to  let my late husband to take on those chores for us as a couple, since we agreed to share everything. Mutual trust was everything to us.

Flash forward 30 years and I was a widow with no credit, and everything was on-line. I had a lot to catch up on and figure out.
